A note from Ban and Buzz

We kept hearing the same thing

Customers would order a 10ml to try a scent in their ZenPlug, and it would run out before they had really lived with it. Then they'd ask us why. The honest answer is that a ZenPlug needs 20ml to give you a proper run. The 10ml existed to hit a price, not to do the job.

We looked at adding a warning at checkout. We looked at asking which diffuser you own every time you ordered. Both make ordering harder. Then we noticed the MistMini and ScentFlow take 20ml too. So we made 20ml the standard, for every scent, for every diffuser, and stopped making 10ml altogether.

The obvious objection is price. We are not the cheapest oil out there and we never will be, but we are a long way from the most expensive. So instead of doubling the price with the bottle, we built a way to pay less per bottle the more you mix, and we are honouring every existing 10ml subscription at its current price. If you have a 10ml subscription, your next delivery and every one after it is a 20ml. Same scent, same schedule, same price you pay today. You do not need to do anything.

We have been quietly doing this for 2 weeks.

Every 10ml ordered in the last fortnight went out as a 20ml at no extra charge. If you opened a bottle recently and it looked bigger than you remembered, that is why.

New 20ml subscriptions are £19.99 a bottle, 20% off the single price, delivered on your schedule.

The things people have asked us

Can I still buy a 10ml?

No. We have stopped producing them. The 20ml replaces it for every scent and every diffuser we make.

I only want to try one scent. Do I have to buy a set?

No. Every scent is available as a single 20ml at £24.99. The set pricing is there for when you want to try a few; the more you add, the less each bottle costs.

Does 20ml fit my MistMini or ScentFlow?

Yes. Both take the 20ml bottle. The ZenPlug is designed around it.

I have a 10ml subscription. Will my price go up?

No. You are upgraded to 20ml at the price you pay now, for as long as you keep that subscription running.

What about the discovery sets?

They stay. Our curated sets are still the lowest price per bottle we offer, because we choose the scents and pour them together. The bundle builder is for when you want to choose for yourself.

How long does a 20ml last in a ZenPlug?

On typical settings, a full 20ml gives you a proper run rather than the half run a 10ml gave. Exact timing depends on intensity and schedule.
